Using Multilingual Application as Single-Language (Preferred Language)

When working with a multilingual application in Tabidoo, you can also set a preferred language. In this case, the application behaves like a single-language app, fully localized into the chosen language.

Key Points to Remember

  • Complete definitions required – all names, labels, and values must be correctly filled in the selected language.
  • Fallback to English – if some element is not defined in the chosen language, Tabidoo will automatically display the English version (default language).
  • Internal names – remain in English unless the user has renamed them manually.
  • Developer mode check – if the user has Developer mode enabled, it is important to review internal names before changing the preferred language to avoid confusion in scripts or automation.

Practical Tip

If you plan to use the app in one language only, always finalize the translations and verify all internal names. This ensures consistent behavior and prevents unexpected fallbacks to English.
