# What is an Application?

An **Application** in Tabidoo is the main container for your data and tools. Think of it as a mini system or workspace where you manage everything related to a specific topic or business process—like CRM, HR, warehouse management, or project tracking.

Each application is made up of several parts:

-   **Tables** – where your actual data lives
-   **Dashboards** – for visual summaries
-   **Scripts, rules, permissions** – to automate and secure your workflows
-   **Users and roles** – to define who can do what

Applications let you fully customize the environment to suit your needs. You can start from scratch, install a ready-made template, or copy an existing app.
