# Notifications in Tabidoo

The Notification Center in Tabidoo is a convenient way to stay updated on important activities and updates. Represented by a **bell icon** in the top navigation bar, it works similarly to notification systems in other popular applications like LinkedIn.

When a new notification arrives, a **blue badge** with the number of unread notifications will appear on the bell icon, ensuring you never miss an update.

## Features

**Popup for Notifications**
Clicking the bell icon opens a popup window where you can view your notifications.

**Categories**: Notifications can be filtered by categories such as:

- **All**: Displays all notifications.
- **@Mentions**: Shows notifications where you were specifically mentioned.

**Filters**: Further refine your notifications by:

- **All**: Displays all notifications regardless of status.
- **Read**: Shows notifications you have already viewed.
- **Unread**: Displays only the notifications you haven’t opened yet.

**Mark as Read**

- You can mark individual notifications or all notifications as read directly from the notification center.

## When do you get notifications?

- When someone **mentions** you in chat (*using @ notation*).
- When someone **invites** you **to join** the real-time **chat**.
- When a long-running **multi-edit** operation is completed.
- When a [**workflow-triggered** **notification**](https://help.tabidoo.cloud/en/article/send-notification) is sent to you.
- When the application **definition changes**, you receive a notification prompting a template refresh.

You can **disable notifications at the application level** in **Security & Notifications →** [**App Notifications**](https://help.tabidoo.cloud/en/article/user-account-settings). For each application, you can separately turn off **e-mail notifications** or **in-app notifications**.
